JobSearchAI Support

1. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
2. Enter your name, job title, email, phone, and location.
3. Upload your resume (PDF or Word) — the AI will automatically read it and fill in your work experience, education, skills, and more.
4. Review the auto-filled sections and make any edits.
5. Head to the Job Search tab to start finding opportunities.

JobSearchAI supports the following resume formats:

• PDF (.pdf)
• Microsoft Word (.docx, .doc)
• Plain text (.txt)

For best AI parsing results, use a text-based PDF (not a scanned image). Resumes with clear sections (Summary, Experience, Education, Skills) parse most accurately.

No. JobSearchAI does not require you to create an account or sign in. All your profile data and documents are stored locally on your device. No registration, no password.

When you upload a resume, the app extracts the text and sends it to an AI service that reads it and returns a structured profile. The result is used to automatically fill in:

• Work experience (company, role, dates, responsibilities)
• Education (school, degree, dates)
• Skills, certifications, languages
• Projects, publications, awards
• Contact information and links

You can review and edit every field after parsing. The AI is accurate but not perfect — always verify the results.

The AI can only extract information that is clearly present in your resume text. Common reasons for missing data:

• The resume is a scanned image (text is not machine-readable)
• Sections use non-standard headings the AI didn't recognise
• Information was in a table, text box, or image inside the document

In these cases, fill in the missing fields manually in the Profile tab.

Tap the Profile tab at any time. Each section (Work Experience, Education, Skills, etc.) has an edit button. You can add, edit, or delete individual entries at any time.

To re-upload a resume and re-run AI parsing, tap Replace in the Resume section. The new resume will be parsed and your profile will be updated automatically.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Delete specific sections: edit any section in the Profile tab and remove individual entries.
• Delete all data: delete the app from your device. This permanently removes all stored profile data, saved jobs, and generated documents.

When you view a job, the app sends your resume text and the job description to an AI that evaluates the match and returns:

• A score from 0–100
• A one-sentence explanation
• Up to 5 matching skills or experiences
• Up to 5 gaps or missing requirements
• Salary range extracted from the listing (if mentioned)

Scores are cached per job — the AI is only called once per listing unless you update your profile.

1. Open any job listing and wait for the job description to load.
2. Tap the Cover Letter button.
3. The AI generates a personalised cover letter using your profile and the job's requirements.
4. Review, then tap Export PDF or Share to send it.

Generated cover letters are saved to the job — tap View Cover Letter to open it again at any time.

The Tailored Resume feature sends your full structured profile and the job description to the AI, which rewrites your resume to:

• Lead with your most relevant experience for that specific role
• Naturally incorporate keywords from the job description
• Reword bullet points to align with the employer's language

The result is rendered using your resume template and can be exported as a multi-page PDF.

Important: The AI only uses facts already in your profile — it does not invent experience or credentials.

AI operations (cover letter, tailored resume, match scoring, resume parsing) involve sending data to an external AI service and waiting for a response. Typical times:

• Match scoring: 5–15 seconds
• Cover letter: 10–20 seconds
• Tailored resume: 20–40 seconds
• Resume parsing: 15–30 seconds

A spinner is shown while the AI is working. If a request times out, try again — it is usually a temporary connectivity issue.

AI-generated content is a strong starting point, but you should always review it before sending to an employer:

• Check that all facts are accurate and reflect your real experience
• Adjust tone, style, or specifics to match your voice
• Verify that dates, titles, and company names are correct

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any documents you submit to employers.

JobSearchAI can search and display jobs from:

• LinkedIn
• Indeed
• Monster
• Glassdoor
• Dice

Job descriptions are loaded in an in-app browser, and AI scoring is applied automatically once the description is available.

When viewing a job listing, tap the bookmark icon or the Apply ↗ button to save it to your My Jobs list. Saved jobs retain their AI match score, cover letter, and tailored resume.

Job descriptions are loaded from third-party sites and may occasionally fail to load due to:

• No internet connection — check your WiFi or cellular data
• The job listing has been removed or expired
• The job site is temporarily unavailable

Try pulling down to refresh, or close and reopen the job listing. If the issue persists for a specific site, that site may have changed its page structure.

1. Open the document (Resume Preview, or a generated Cover Letter / Tailored Resume).
2. Tap Export PDF in the toolbar.
3. Choose to save to Files, share via AirDrop, email, or any other app.

PDFs are generated directly on your device and support multiple pages automatically.

Make sure you are running the latest version of JobSearchAI. Multi-page PDF export is supported in all current versions.

If the issue persists, try the following:

• Close and reopen the Resume Preview
• Ensure your device has available storage
• Contact support if the problem continues

Generated cover letters and tailored resumes are saved automatically and attached to their respective job listings in My Jobs. To access them, open the My Jobs tab and long-press any saved job, or open the job detail and tap the document button.

Exported PDFs are saved wherever you choose during the share/save step (Files app, email, etc.).

All your profile data, resume text, saved jobs, and generated documents are stored locally on your iPhone. Dajax LLC does not operate user accounts and does not store your personal data on any external server.

Your resume and profile data are only transmitted when you explicitly trigger an AI feature (match scoring, resume parsing, cover letter generation, or tailored resume). These requests are sent securely over HTTPS to our AI processing service.

We never transmit your data in the background or without your action.

Delete the app from your iPhone. This permanently removes all locally stored data including your profile, resume, saved jobs, match scores, and generated documents.

There is no server-side account to delete — your data exists only on your device.
